The Gundam song cover album "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" sung by Hiroko Moriguchi will be released by King Records on August 7, 2019 (Wed). Limited edition is ¥4,000 (tax exc), regular edition is ¥3,000 (tax exc).

This work contains from the "Gundam Song Ranking" from the 2018 broadcast on NHK of "Announcement! All Gundam Big Vote!", Moriguchi's debut song "Mizu no Hoshi e Ai wo Komete", ranked 1st out of 361 songs, and "ETERNAL WIND ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka~" ranked 3rd. To commemorate the entire range of years in the "Mobile Suit Gundam" 40th anniversary, Moriguchi releases song covers & self covers of the "Gundam Song Best 10 as Chosen by the People".

The album features many splendid artists in the arrangements and recordings.

"Mizu no Hoshi e Koe wo Komete" has jazz violinist Naoko Terai, "Ai Senshi" has acoustic guitarist Kotaro Oshio, "Arashi no Naka de Kagayaite" has accordionist Saburo Tanooka, "Freesia" has pianist Satoru Shionoya, "JUST COMMUNICATION" has keyboardist Ino Hidefumi, and "RE:I AM" has instrumental unit TSUKEMEN.

Also, as a bonus track, the 2016 release of "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN IV Eve of Destiny" theme song "Sora no Kanatade" is recorded with original audio.

The jacket illustration is by illustrator Tsukasa Kotobuki, with space as the backdrop, the "Z Gundam" and Moriguchi in a normal suit are drawn.

The CD comes as two types of deluxe LP size double jacket spec: a "limited edition" and "regular edition". The "limited edition" is available as a pre-order on the special page in the "KING e-SHOP" internet shop for a limited time until June 30, 2019 (Sun) 23:59, so don't miss this chance.
